Boxengasse Megaphonics 2025: A Celebration of Porsche Passion

After decades off the road, a legendary classic car is making a stunning comeback. Painstakingly restored to its former glory, this vintage beauty blends timeless design with the charm of motoring history, capturing attention wherever it goes.

Discover the highlights of this year’s event – a world-class Porsche gathering in South Central UK.

Now in its sixth year, Boxengasse Megaphonics has cemented itself as one of the UK’s most anticipated Porsche-centric automotive events, known not just for the calibre of display vehicles, but for its relaxed, community-driven atmosphere and curated approach to storytelling the marques history.

Held on August 3rd, it once again delivered an extraordinary celebration of Porsche heritage, design and engineering. Nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, adjacent to longtime marque specialists, Autofarm, the venue brought together an impressive assembly of classic air-cooled 911s, modern icons, historic race & rally cars, creating a visual symphony for collectors, enthusiasts and automotive purists alike.

A Mecca for Porsche Enthusiasts

From early on Sunday morning, the venue buzzed with the sounds of flat-six engines and the conversations of passionate collectors. This year featured a curated display of motorsport legends, including examples from Group C, Targa Florio and rally heritage.

New for 2025 was the Porsche Rennsport Room, where rare memorabilia, period racing suits and interviews with veteran drivers, offered visitors a deeper immersion into Porsche’s motorsport legacy.

Other highlights included:

Modern GT Porsche paddock, featuring the latest GT2 RS and GT3 Touring

Live panel talks with renowned restorers, engineers & Porsche Club GB members

Artisan food stalls and a newly expanded Porsche Lifestyle & Art Pavilion

Personal Reflections…

Enthusiasm for all things “collectors Porsche” has never been stronger, with current particular interest in the 993 iteration, of the 911-series.
It’s great to see an increasing number of female owners attracted to the marque, reinforced by the interest & on-track success of the “Iron Dames” GT & European Le Mans team
The organisers again did a great job of making an informal event, feel very relaxed, but event access & egress definitely needs a BIG re-think.
Fellow specialists reported strong interest from clients in acquiring & maintaining the very best “driving” examples, irrespective of air or water-cooled, age or mileage
Personal highlight of the day – the curated motorsport collection, I grew up watching at Le Mans, Spa & Silverstone, the legendary 956 & 962 .

The Atmosphere: Intimate, Authentic, Unforgettable

One of the most remarkable elements of Boxengasse Megaphonics is its sense of intimacy. Unlike larger commercial shows, it fosters genuine connection—between collectors, machines and fellow enthusiasts. Conversations flow as freely as the coffee, where each car has a story, often told by the owner themselves.

It was good to meet with several longstanding fellow marque afficionado’s including friends from the Netherlands, who currently have four Porsche’s in preparation for the upcoming Goodwood Revival and Spa Six Hour Classic

Why Boxengasse Matters…

It’s a hub for those who appreciate the design, engineering, and soul of everything collectors Porsche. As more enthusiasts and a younger demographic take interest in analogue driving experiences and curated collections, events like this and others, play a vital role in preserving automotive history.
For Vita Rossa Classico, which represents classic car connoisseurship at the highest level, Boxengasse offers not only inspiration but an opportunity to connect with likeminded enthusiasts, clients  and trusted partners in the sales, acquisition, maintenance & restoration sectors.

Looking Ahead to 2026
